McCOy has taken the most advanced hybrid spectra material known in the industry and reinforced each spectra fiber with the same polymer process (RPS) Reinforced Polymer Saturation used in their nylon co-polymer lines.

This reinforced polymer saturation process protects the line from water absorption, UV exposure and resistance to breakdown or deterioration. The RPS process makes the line 15% stronger and five times more abrasion resistance compared to similar diameter spectra lines.

A cross section of "Mean Green Spectra" clearly reveals the line is completely round, eliminating reel clinching. The small, rounded diameter results in better casting distance with less line resistance in water. No memory eliminates "rod tip wrapping" and "air cast knotting."
